WHAT WILL ART CLASS LOOK LIKE?
IN THE SCHOOL BUILDING:
Mrs. Kasperowicz will be coming in to the individual grade classrooms to provide the safest possible way to teach Art class to the children of ICA. Although this is not the typical way we experience Art as a special it will still have all of the creative opportunities, content, and excitement! Students will be asked to use their own art materials in their desks as to avoid contact with others. A DETAILED LIST CAN BE FOUND ON THE ART SUPPLIES TAB IN THE MENU. If there are materials that are the school's communal supplies (brushes and paint trays for example) they will be sanitized with the approved cleaning solutions and be isolated for a few days to ensure they are safe to use again. Projects may span over multiple class periods.
VIRTUAL STUDENTS:
The students that will be virtually attending Art class they will need to be ready to participate when the Art class is scheduled. You will be expected to participate in all of the activities, discussions, and projects. Projects may span over multiple class periods. If you do not have the materials being used in the physical classroom at home you may substitute another suitable art material. If you are unsure please ask Mrs. K. for options. We can just get creative so there is no need to worry. Please look at the supply list to see what materials are suggested for you to have at home to use. I will be looking at your progress over the computer so please show your work to the camera when I ask so I can give you some feedback. It will be very important for you to take a photo of your work and upload it to the LMS (Canvas or Seesaw) or email Mrs. K

If you do not send me a photo of your work I will be unable to grade it and also unable to post it to our virtual bulletin boards.
